Acrylic sheet punching processing
It is possible to punch a 3.0mm acrylic sheet with a mold.
In the Strategic Base Technology Advancement Support Project (Support Project) for the fiscal year 2011, we developed a technology to convert the acrylic light guide plate for PC keyboards from machining to pressing, through the development of molds and presses that achieve cost reduction and thinness of backlight light guide plates. This technology enables the punching of 3.0mm acrylic sheets with molds. The cut surface of the acrylic can be processed to remain clear and smooth without clouding. *Note: Molds are not sold separately.
